Company: Chagford Dental Practice, Chagford, Devon What they wanted to achieve: Two young dentists took over an old dental surgery in a small town in Devon. They needed to announce their presence and make sure that they were seen to be providing modern dental care. As they were starting from scratch they needed to build up their registration list and get a full surgery as quickly as possible. What we did: A humorous postcard, with a simple registration form on the reverse. This was posted out to every house in the catchment area and generated a fantastic response with a 30% registration rate. How we did it: We started with developing their new logo/identity with the careful selection of colours and fonts to convey a modern, clinical, yet gentle identity. The postcard was the way to get it read (flyers tend to end up in the bin). It all revolved around getting the right image, the right message and a simple response mechanism. What they think of it: "I thought it was going to be too edgy for Chagford and would upset people, but it didn't just work, it was the talk of the town - people loved it. Tim said to me that he leaves his teeth to a dentist, and that I should leave the marketing to a marketer! I hate to admit it (because he's a cheeky sod) but he was right! It didn't just get us known, it got us a full surgery." Website: not yet! Give them a chance :) |
Tim tends to write his thoughts down as they occur in our blog. |
